About
Why StudioPulse exists.
I have been operating boutique fitness studios in some form for most of the last decade, most recently as a Franchise Business Consultant inside a multi-unit boutique brand. Before that I worked across cybersecurity engineering, federal law enforcement, and military intelligence. The throughline in all of it is the same: build operating systems that survive contact with reality.
The boutique studio world does not have those systems. Not the way franchise restaurants have them. Not the way SaaS companies have them. Most studio software is a booking and billing system with a reporting tab bolted on. Most fitness consultants came up in big-box gyms or CrossFit and apply gym thinking to a business that has fundamentally different economics.
A Pilates reformer studio is not a gym. A boutique cycling studio is not a CrossFit box. The unit economics are different. The instructor model is different. The customer is different. The membership math is different. When you treat them the same, you get the kind of generic advice that has been hollowing out independent studio P&Ls for ten years.
StudioPulse exists to fix that. We build operating infrastructure for boutique studios specifically: Pilates, yoga, barre, boutique cycling, and premium small-group strength. Every framework is native to how these studios actually run. Every benchmark is set against comparable studios, not against a generic fitness average.
If you run a boutique studio and you have ever felt like the consulting world was either too expensive, too generic, or too oriented around people who have never paid an instructor for a class on a Tuesday night, this is for you.

The operating philosophy
Four principles. We live by these.
Operators over gurus.
We have run the studios we advise on. We are not consultants who read a book about it.
Data over opinion.
Every recommendation ties back to a number you can see in your own system.
Systems over tactics.
We build operating infrastructure, not Facebook ad campaigns.
Your data stays yours.
You own 100% of your data. We do not monetize it. We do not aggregate it. It is yours.
